A Fun-filled Wedding inspired by Tim Walker

Happy Monday everyone! I'm back after a very relaxing and fun vacation with my hubby last week. I just got back last night and have lots to catch up on - including getting some great posts prepared for this week and responding to lots of emails. While I was away I had a chance to catch up on some reading, including some wonderful books and lots of magazines, including the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. There was one wedding in there that really blew my mind with the couple's creativity - you may have already seen this wedding in the magazine or possibly on the bride's site (she is the Creative Director of Hello!Lucky). Anyways, I think this wedding is worth sharing again. Inspired by the photography of Tim Walker, it was full of so much personality - just love it. This Northern California (held at Wilbur Hot Springs) wedding had it all - a parade of animal puppets, a vaudeville-stage altar, gorgeous paper details, and square dancing - such a fun filled wedding!

A high point was a Tim Walker-inspired parade featuring animal shadow puppets designed by Eunice, fabricated by Jillian and Toast at Because We Can, and then hand-painted!

Since we’re stationers, paper played a big role in designing Eunice & Daniel’s wedding. The first piece of inspiration was Rob Ryan, the whimsical London-based paper artist. Eunice illustrated this letterpress save-the-date poster featuring silhouettes of her and Daniel, and their two dogs Indie and Simon, along with a save-the-date for their London reception.

Beautiful photography from Gia Canali with Sara Remington. Check out lots more from their wedding in the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings and on the Hello! Lucky Blog. Congrats to Eunice + Daniel!
