The right wedding undergarments are flattering and comfortable. If you've chosen a wedding dress that flatters (and of course you did!), it deserves good undergarments to make it hang the way it's supposed to. You deserve good undergarments that you can wear all day long in comfort and you certainly deserve good undergarments that accentuate your most fabulous parts! Wedding days are long and stressful. The last thing you need is to have to ignore bones that stick into you or be unable to breathe on what's supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life. Bad underwear is as painful as bad shoes.

Good undergarments are expensive. But if you choose wisely, you'll wear them again.
Get fitted by a professional. If you have to, take the wedding dress with you. You don't want to bulge out or over and you also don't want anything sticking in you or constricting you! You may have to travel to find a store who can help you with the underwear you need. Take this trip well in advance of your wedding. And if you have significant weight loss or gain, in addition to getting the dress refitted, you may have to go get new undergarments.


If you've never worn a thong, buy one to wear before the wedding ceremony. If you haven't worn thigh highs before, check to make sure that you have the kind of legs they'll stay up on. Don't assume you'll find everything comfortable just because it was fashionable. In fact, I would practice wearing my wedding underwear for a full day to make sure you can wear it without discomfort or malfunctions.

Don't assume that expensive means comfortable.
Make sure that you're discretely covered. We all know what the cold does to women, and that's not where you want all eyes to be when you're exchanging wedding vows with your beloved.
Consider sharing this list with your bridesmaids, as well.

You want to look beautiful on your wedding day. And you will because you're going to be blazingly happy. But you want to look beautiful as you, not as someone you've seen in a magazine.
